Smoothie for energyIngredients:

¼ C pineapple

1 apricot

A handful of strawberries

1 banana

1 ½ C water

¼ C flax ground flax seeds

A handful of spinach leaves.

 

How to Make It:

Place all the fruit and the spinach into the blender. I recommend the Vita-Mix.

Blend just slightly to combine.

Add the water and flax seeds.

Blend until smooth.

Enjoy!

  2. Fruit smoothies are my favorite…but adding the spinach and flax seeds will be new territory for me as I work towards changing our diets to incorporate more raw foods! I’ll be back :)
